tHE bIRDS, THE BEES & OTHER ANIMALS!

During your stay you are welcome to explore our grounds, we have ponds, a dingle and in the summer months the largest field turns into glorious meadow land, with many lovely wild flowers. In this field you can sit under the old oak tree and take in the peace and tranquility.

You can visit our free range birds, geese, ducks, chickens and guinea fowl. As well as our own lovely free range eggs we have 3 bee hives looked after by a local man, you can purchase our very own honey.

We have many cats that you will see about the place plus 3 dogs; Cathy, Dorcas and Beau. You are welcome to bring dogs as it is great walking country but please be aware that there are live stock on the common.

The cottage does have a self contained garden however as secure as we have tried to make the garden the more determined pet may find a hole! So please be aware as to where they are during your stay.

We do not charge extra for dogs*,  but we do ask that you bring your own bedding and that they don't go upstairs, we can provide a stair gate if necessary.
